We learned that most trees have great reproduction. They also take in what we breathe out and give us more air. We discovered that some trees have damage that we can’t see. Unlike other trees which have damage on the outside. Like for instance one of the trees out in the school yard has tree damage and produces sap. We are interested in the questions about the damage of the tree and what kind of damage. |
Research Question |
how we can help find ways to treat damaged trees.
The things we are trying to study is how we can help damaged trees. We came up with the question with the help of Mrs. Weiss. We wanted to do this question because it looked like a fun and interesting thing to do with trees without it being too hard or not boring. What we know about trees is that there are many types of trees and many ways they could die. We are very interested in ways we/ other people could help keep these trees healthy and a place for animals to live. |
Predictions |
think that we can treat tree damage by not cutting the wood off of them and using it for other things like building houses. I think we should limit the amount of houses that are being built. Also if maybe we would stop just taking the wood off of trees for no reason. |
Experimental Design |
Our plan is to see what we can do about harmed trees. This means we will be looking at what things that we can do to prevent and “fix” tree damage. We will test to see what mainly causes tree damage. Then how we could prevent that. Then we should look at the small things and how to prevent that. We will also look at current tree damage dealt, then try to use it as an example of tree damage. Data will be recorded by pictures or measurements. The data will be used as examples for things that happen with tree damage. |
