sxutatumfall2021 project 9

Project by group sxutatumfall2021

Explore I know that plants come in many shapes and forms. We have discovered in class trichomes, hair on leaves. I question why do plants have trichomes? and why do some plants have flowers and different height.
Research Question Is there a difference between the height of parental lines and RIL's?
Predictions If the hypothesis is correct then we should expect differences between COL, LER, and RIL’s in the results of our graph.
Experimental Design Our plan is to continue to monitor the height and number of flowers in order to measure and collect data to put in a graph. The graph will show the results of the experiment more efficiently than words
Conclusion In conclusion there is a difference between the height and flowers between the parental lines and RIL's. This can result to be true depending how our research and experiment go. If it doesn't result to be true there can be other experiments conducted to make the statement true like changing the methods used in the experiment or changing the variables used. This alone can make great differences throughout an experiment.
