Explore Plants need water, sunlight, and CO2
Research Question Is the growth and germination of a plant affected by cooler temperature?
Predictions The speed of growth pf the plant may change depending on temperature. The plant will grow better in warmer temperatures.
Experimental Design Plant two pairs of seeds with equal amounts of water, soil, air, and sunlight. Store one pair of plants in a refrigerator and the other pair at room temperature. Cover the plant stored at room temperature with cloth or foil to account for the lack of light that the pair of seeds in a refrigerator gets. Analyze the growth of the plant and record the results.
Conclusion Our experiment has shown us that temperature has an affect on the growth of plants. Specifically that some seeds will not grow if they do not have the correct temperature.
