The Fungi

Project by group svhspererafall2021

Explore Fungi is a parasitic bacteria that produces in living organisms, classified as plants, that lack chlorophyll and build up molds and rusts. Fungi delays seed germination and causes damping-off, root rotting, and other diseases in seedlings.
Research Question How fast does it take for fungi to kill a seed in the germination process? And how?
Predictions Fungi spreads diseases through contaminated seeds, and kills roots from growing when exposed to any types of fungi.
Experimental Design Our plan is to conduct 1 experiment with 2 different independent variables for our lab. Our experiment will be to place 20 seeds in one container, add an extreme amount of water, and provide no air flow which will cause the seeds to not germinate and produce fungi.
