Green Soil

Project by group svhspererafall2021

Explore (Ashton) me and my family grow variety of plants and flowers the biggest plant we have is a avocado tree
Research Question Is soil a better option to grow seeds in than a wet paper towel in a bag?
Predictions The seeds will grow more efficiently in soil. We believe this will happen because plants generally need a staple like soil to grow.
Experimental Design We will put the cabbage seeds in a cup of seed starting mix soil and some in a plastic bag with a wet paper towel. We will observe the seeds growth in both options. We will record the data using a ruler and writing down the results on paper.
Conclusion The method of growing a seed in a plastic bag with a wet paper towel is more effective than the method with just soil.
