Explore We know that when they are soaked they germinate better but not how or why.
Research Question Do seeds sprout faster if they are presoaked?
Predictions The seeds that are presoaked will germinate faster than then seeds that were not soaked beforehand.
Experimental Design Place 10 seeds in water to soak for 24-48 hours after the time is over remove seeds from the water and place 10 dry seeds and the 10 soaked seeds on germination plates, monitor seeds and track them as they grow and continue to water like normal, after the experiment we will compare the data we recorded of the seeds growth and get our conclusion.
Conclusion The plants that were presoaked grew and germinated faster they began to grow further and faster quickly though the other non presoaked grew the presoaked still was taller thicker and greener.
