Project by group shstomcospring2022

Explore Plant cells use chloroplasts for photosynthesis. Chlorophyll is green and reflects green light.
Research Question How will the phenotypic ratio of the F2 generation and other characteristics be affected by Purple light?
Predictions Most of the class thinks the plants under purple light will grow taller, faster, and have more leaves and flowers. Purple light has high energy waves and may increase plant photosynthesis. We think that the purple light may influence stem color.
Experimental Design We planted F2 seeds in self watering containers and grew them under fluorescent white light and fluorescent light with a purple film/filter.
