Explore Plants are autotrophs which means that they can create their own food. They do this through the process of Photosynthesis.
Research Question we want to test how the amount of brightness affects the rate of photosynthesis
Predictions The possible outcomes for this expirement are the leaf Chads can come up sooner or later than our control.
Experimental Design 1.)pour 100ml of water into a plastic cup 2.)Mix 1 gram of baking soda into water 3.)Cut out 10 leaf chads and place them into a syringe 4.) Suck water through syringe and shake it. 5.)push water all the air out of the syringe and place chads into the plastic cup of water 6.)Let cup of water and leaf chads sit under light for 10 minutes and count leaf chads as they rise 7.) Record data 8.) reapeat 3 times then change light bulb
Conclusion The amount of light does affect the rate of photosynthesis
