Project by group phsjonesfall2021

Explore Plants need water and sunlight to complete photosynthesis.
Research Question Does spinach, kale, romaine, or iceberg lettuce determine an increased rate of photosynthesis?
Predictions We predict that spinach will have a higher rate of photosynthesis because it has the darkest pigmentation of green than the other plants.
Experimental Design Our independent variables are the type of leaf disks. We will measure how many disks float to the top every minute for 10 minutes. We will keep the temperature and amount of solution constant. We will record our data using a chart.
Conclusion Kale had the highest rate of photosynthesis. This could be possible because of the solution or the amount of CO2 in the kale.
