Project by group lostinderfall2018

Explore How a seed germinates and what to do to make it germinate.
Research Question To see if compacted soil grows faster or non compacted soil grows faster?
Predictions with compacted soil the seed will grow faster.
Experimental Design 1. To do 4 cups of compacted soil with two seeds and 4 cups of non compacted soil with two seeds also in each cup 2.We let the seeds soak in water for 36 hours for the seed coats to come off 3. Now we are watching and observing our seeds to see if the germinate.
Conclusion Soil with no pressure applied helps seeds germinate faster than when you do apply pressure. We know this because 5/8 seeds germinated, and 3/8 of them were with non-compacted soil. To do figure out for sure we could conduct an experiment with a different type of bean, and see if that helps more seeds to germinate.
