Research Question |
Is a seed alive? Why is it alive? We are studying the growth of the seeds. |
Predictions |
We predict that the seed that is watered regularly and isn't disrupted by cutting will succeed the most. |
Experimental Design |
Our plan is to take 3 maize seeds and purposely stimulate one of them by cutting of 5 cm of its roots, leave one alone, and cut another ones stem 1 cm. We are doing this to see if a seed will respond to stimulation. If it responds we will know that it is alive. We will record our data in a table by measuring the length of the roots and stems of our seeds in centimeters. we will record the information on 3-19-18, 3-20-18, 3-22-18. |
