ghshendersonfall2021 project 3

Project by group ghshendersonfall2021

Explore Plants are multicellular organisms that are found literally everywhere, a plant is a living thing that grows in the earth and has a stem, leaves, and roots. In class, we have been participating in a class project. For the project, we've been split into four different groups. Each group worked together to create greenhouses. My group and I have learned a lot within this plant project.
Research Question What makes an individual in a population unique?
Predictions Genes or environmental factors make every individual unique from one another.
Experimental Design Our biology class has been participating in the plant project, the class was split into a total of four groups. Each group created greenhouses for their plants. We started off with just a brown package box. We used materials such as tape, a box cutter, aluminium foil, and scissors. With the box, we cut some pieces using the box cutter to create just a 3d square box. We cut little holes at the top in order for the light to stay in for the plants. Before we placed the lights in the box, we covered the inside of the box with aluminium foil. We then placed the light and plugged it up and we had our base of our greenhouse. We then got 10 individual jars and planted 10 plants within the jars. We used dirt and other materials such as plant food. Our group then got a heating pad and we placed every single one of our jars on top. We numbered each of our plant jars 1-10. They are currently growing healthy.
