Middle-mist Reds

Project by group dmsstiemspring2021

Explore Seeds need 3 things to start germination need Water, and the right temperature, and a good location. once it starts germination the seed needs to start photosynthesis. That is when the plant takes CO2, water, and sunlight to make Glucose and oxygen. It uses glucose and oxygen to make ATP energy that is the plant's food source.
Research Question How does the Amount of paper towels affect how the seed grows.
Predictions Owen and Isabella think that the plants with 2 and 3 paper towels will thrive and grow pretty fast. But the one with 1 paper towel will stay alive but not grow as fast. And also the plant with 3 paper towels will not absorb all the water it will just take as much as it needs and grow from there. Lincoln and josh think it won't germinate as fast because the other layers of paper towel will soak up the water making it harder for it to reach the seed. so I think that the seed that has fewer paper towels will grow faster.
Experimental Design Put dry PT in the bag Put the seed in the bag Put another layer of PT over the seed Water the PT with 10ML of water Do these same steps in another bag but add 1 more layer of PT ` Record the growth of both seeds and see which one grows faster
