Explore Seeds need water, soil, sun light, the right temperature
Research Question Hows does the amount of seeds you put in one certain area affect the other seeds?
Predictions If you put two seeds in the same area it will grow higher than planting just one seed.
Experimental Design First put a wet paper towel in the bottom of a dish with 5 seeds. Then repeat that with 15 and 20 seeds in 2 more different dishes. Water the seeds every other day with the same amount of water. See what dish started to sprout first.
Conclusion Claim:When adding a certain amount of seeds in one area they will higher . Evidence:All of the 15 seeds all grew longer every day then the other seeds. Reasoning:If the seeds are spread out too far, they won't have enough nutrients from the soil or from each other grow properly. If they are too far or too close they wont grow as well. For it to grow well it needs a good amount of space in between each seed. The spacing can also affect the size of the fruit or vegetables. It can also lead to caching a disease.
