Research Question | How do different liquids affect the plant's growth? |
Predictions | I think that water is going to be the most successful because plants are meant to use water and I think other liquids will make the seeds moldy and stop germination. |
Experimental Design | procedure: put 2 table spoons of liquid and then start measuring in centimeters for 6 days and see which one grew the most. |
Conclusion | Our claim we could make is water helps the plants grow the best. An explanation could be that the plants did do the best in water because the other liquids were not suitable for the plants and water had all of the nutrients that a seed needs. Our data supports our claim because it shows water has the biggest plant measurements out of all of the other liquids/plants which our prediction was correct water did do the best. We could in the future avoid the coke and vegetable oil because those 2 liquids stopped germination and the plant didn't grow. |
