| Experimental Design | Step 1: gather materials Step 2: construct a growth chamber using 6 petri dishes and paper towel Step 3: put paper towel on bottom of petri dish and place seeds Step 4: put wax paper on half of the light (so half of the seeds get direct light and half do not) Step 5: keep an eye on the seeds and watch for germination Step 6: everyday cheek for germination, mist the paper towel, and update data table *NOTE* how many days did it take for the seeds to germinate? Step 7: calculate percentage of germination for high and low light |
