Team Gatorade

Project by group cmsobrienspring2021

Explore So far this year we have not worked with plants besides strawberries and spinach, and even then it was nothing to do with growth of pant so this lab will be a first. We have learned lots about plants so far this year though, just nothing hands on like this lab.
Research Question The two research questions that we have are, how much does the "Plant Food" actually help? As well as, how does the growth of the plant differ depending on the liquid?
Predictions We predict that the plant with more of the plant food will grow faster. We also predict that the Gatorade will be the best liquid to grow with besides water.
Experimental Design Our plan is to make three different bottles. One with water and a little plant food, one with water and more plant food, and one with Gatorade and plant food. We will give all of them the same light and liquid so they are controlled factors. We will observe factors like height of growth and when it sprout to see if the plant food works. We will record our data on the excel file that is in the files section.
