Agronomy Feeds the World: Team Celery

Explore We know that plants require water and sunlight to grow. DF. We also know that plants get their food from the sunlight which they convert into food during the photosynthesis process. DF.
Research Question Plants need sunlight to grow but what happens if you don't have enough sunlight or too much sunlight? DF. How much will the sunlight impact the plants growth? PO.
Predictions I think the plant that is left in the sun for too long will grow bigger. DF.
Experimental Design We have made plants and we are putting one plant in direct sunlight and another sun in an area that is farther away from the sun but still gets a little. DF.
Conclusion In conclusion, we had a plant that got little sunlight die, while also having two other plants survive after getting a lot of sunlight. We can say that you need your plant to almost always be exposed to some sort of light but also make sure it doesn't get burned out by getting too much sun. We could do a similar experiment to see if a plant can get too much sunlight compared to the right amount.
