We know that plants need to photosynthesize with oxygen, CO2 and sunlight. |
Research Question |
How is photosynthesis affected by temperature. |
Predictions |
We think the ice beaker will have less leaf disks floating because of the temperature. The room temperature beaker should have more leaf disks floating, if infiltration is proceeded correctly. |
Experimental Design |
Put one beaker in an ice bath, infiltrate leafs. Same with a regular room temperature beaker. After this record and see how many leafs float. If the leafs don't float and the amount of floating or not floating is the same, there is no difference between photosynthesis occurring in both beakers. |
Conclusion |
The temperature is not affected by photosynthesis because the amount of leafs floating and the amount that didn't float remanded the same. This means the temperatures of both beakers did not affect the leaf disks. |
