We know plants grow all around the world also we know they need sunlight, soil, and water in order to survive. Another thing we know is that some provide natural resources, and give off oxygen also known photosynthesis. |
Research Question |
What is the affect of salt on photosynthesis? |
Predictions |
I think the control group, and the cup with half a tablespoon of salt will both photosynthesize, and the cup with a full tablespoon of salt will kill the leaf disks. |
Experimental Design |
1 beaker with 3 cm of baking soda water a teaspoon of table salt, and 10 leaf disks. 1 beaker with 3 cm of baking soda water and 10 leaf disks. 1 beaker with 3 cm of baking soda water and a half tablespoon of salt. We will put all three under light for 20 minutes and measure our results on a graph. |
Conclusion |
We will see the result salt has on plants, and it will help us learn how photosynthesis is affected in the ocean. |
