2D Tree Peeps

Project by group camsdavisspring2021

Explore There are so many factors that go into maintaining a healthy plant that, if one of the criteria is not met, sings of illness are very noticeable (exposed roots, spotted leaves, damaged trunks, etc.). How many causes are there for visible damage on leaves?
Research Question How healthy are park tree leaves in comparison to yard tree leaves?
Predictions Trees in yards are better maintained with fewer leaf spots and less damage done by animals that live on trees.
Experimental Design 1. randomly select 4 fruit trees from different areas 2. examine 1 randomly selected tree leaf 3. Take picture of leaf 4. measure tree leaf size in centimeters 5. count the number of holes in the selected tree leaf 6. observe tree leaf color 7. speculate reasons for discoloration.
