Outside of school we have taken the time to observe trees and compare them to trees on an app. We did research to find the benefits of six different types of trees. We mostly focused on fruit trees and we're considering doing our research question on fruit development. |
Research Question |
Do fruit trees tend to develop fruit more in suburban or urban areas? |
Predictions |
Fruit trees develop more fruit in suburban areas because there are more spacious areas for example soil. |
Experimental Design |
We plan to observe fruit development in fruit trees at different geographical areas (suburbs and urban.) The variables we will be testing are suburban and urban locations. The variable we will measure and observe are: # of fruits growing. The constant is that they will all fruit trees. We will record our data by taking pictures and writing down data in our laboratory notebooks. |
