I have spent very little time in my mom's garden, but i know that they need to grow on a trellis and I researched that peas need sandy soil, about one inch of water per week, and about six to eight hours of sunlight every day. |
Research Question |
If pea plants are watered with water solutions then that will affect the growth and germination of the plant. |
Predictions |
If pea plants are watered with water solutions then that will affect the growth and germination of the plant because they are not normally watered with solutions. |
Experimental Design |
What I will need for this experiment is, pea seeds (peas), soil, a plant pot to hold the soil, a trellis, and something to make the solutions, also water. We will plant the peas and they will grow until their leaves appear. Procedure: Everyday, we will water the plant with different solutions and we will measure the height of the plant and graph it throughout the experiment. |
Conclusion |
Did the results support the hypothesis? Yes. The plants most likely averaged more or less than regular water, so my hypothesis is correct. This experiment can be applied to life because you could water these plants with Gatorade to get better results. |
