Explore Dfferent plants need different conditions to survive. Plants are living things and can adapt to change.
Research Question Do monocots or dicots grow towards light?
Predictions We are predicting that the plants that are under both lights will grow towards the light,
Experimental Design We have 1 grape box and 2 berry boxes, 2 cress, and 2 (dicots), a lamp, and sunlight. We are putting 10 seeds in the sunlight and 10 in lamplight that are under a box. We are looking to see if plants grow towards light. The plants with sunlight will have approximately 13 hours of sunlight for the plants to grow, and the ones with lamp light will have 24 hours nonstop and water them as needed. We will measure in millimeters. We will test and observe for around 3 to 3 and a half weeks. We will collect info by seeing how green they are and how much they grow according to a data chart.
