ahhsrichbourgfall2021 project 8

Project by group ahhsrichbourgfall2021

Explore we found out that the celery with no salt bent more, and was less slimy than the cups with salt. The cup with more salt produced more slime. In the experiment with dye, it turned the celery leaves and veins blue.
Research Question Will adding dye bend celery?
Predictions We don't think the dye will bend the celery more, just produce more color the longer we leave it in there. We don't think it'll produce slime because the concentration will even out.
Experimental Design We will have three cups with three stalks of celery at 10 cm in each, with 300 ml of water. We will add 7 drops of dye to one, 7 drops along with 20 g of salt in the other, and nothing in the third. They will sit for a period of 24 hours.
