Explore They are living organisms, and have a green appearance usually. Plants photosynthesis, and have loads of different things contributing to their growth. We've discovered about their families that they are in, and kingdoms.
Research Question How far will the celery bend? It was a claim that we had to expand upon, we know that celery does weird things in salt water.
Predictions A possible outcome is that the celery will bend a lot. This happens because of the salt, and it gets sucked up into the celery stick.
Experimental Design We planned to put three celery sticks into a 200 ml glass of water that has 40 grams of salt in the water. We also planned on putting three celery sticks into 200 ml of water that has 80 grams of salt in the water. The celery is being observed, and the amount of water is constant. We recorded our data in a notebook.
