Research Interests (300 words)I use a combination of DNA sequences and fossil records to study the evolutionary history of plants. Using paleoclimate models, I am particularly interested in how plant diversity respond to major climate upheavals in the past ~65 million years, which may shed light on the potential impact of current global warming on plant communities.
