  • Research Interests (300 words)
I am interested in investigating and understanding how genes and protein functions are regulated in plants especially in the context of C3 and C4 photosynthesis difference. I also work on drought and low nitrogen stress and would signaling response. Its a very complex process and involves cross-talk between various pathways. I use bioinformatics to analyze transcriptomics, genes, genomic and protein features.

Effect of nutrient levels on gene expression Indrajit kumar

Which set of plants are dying? Are the leaves browning? I wouldn't recommend eating the seeds from any experiment.

Thats great.... Keep us posted on your observations and interpretation. Meanwhile, let me know if you have some questions about any aspect of the project.

This is to be expected. High nitrogen levels in the fertilizers make the plant grow faster and greener. There is also a limit on how much fertilizers plants can take. Too much can also burn the plants.
