Can you describe your attitude toward science when you were in high school?

  • Answer the question you selected for profile question 1 here (300 words):
I hated science in high school, and my family still makes fun of me today for pursuing a degree and career in biology. The fieldwork! The majority of my job currently involves hiking to remote field sites around northern Wyoming, identifying various plant species, and digging soil pits.
