  • Profile Question 1
What is best about being a scientist?

  • Answer the question you selected for profile question 1 here (300 words):
The fact that we know nothing in comparison to all there is to know; each day when I wake up, I am motivated by knowledge waiting to be uncovered and the brutal growth points that come with practicing wisdom. The pursuit of knowledge is never ending, what a beautiful truth.

  • Profile Question 2
What lessons have you learned in your career about how science works?

  • Answer the question you selected for profile question 2 here (300 words):
Science works via cumulative knowledge. We only know as much as the previous generations have contributed, and we will only get as far as our open-minds will allow us to. Young people, we need your fresh outlooks. As we learn a new piece of the puzzle, the entire picture changes, giving evidence to incomplete hypotheses which leads to throwing out entire theories and adding validity to others.

  • Profile Question 3
When and why did you decide to go into a science career?

  • Answer the question you selected for profile question 3 here (300 words):
When I finally looked inwards toward myself and accepted that science is what I was born to do. A love emerges from deep within and motivates you to learn more and more. Long story short, I knew once I realized that there was no hate involved with studying for my courses.
