  My name is Kayla Platt. I have been teaching science for 22 years. I have taught 7th grade science, 8th grade science, biology, PAP Biology, Chemistry, PAP Chemistry, Physics, Aquatic Science, Technology and Robotics. I have spent the majority of my teaching career in a biology classroom, as this is my passion. I have a Master's Degree in Instructional Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. I have a daughter that just graduated from high school and is attending college in the fall. She is going to be a pre-vet major so I must have instilled that love for science in her! We have a houseful of pets, right now we have 6 cats, but have had 10 cats and 3 dogs at one time.
