  • Describe your teaching experience and interests in a brief public biography (200 words)
Now in my 13th year of teaching, I became a teacher as a second career after 14 years in IT Consulting. I began my teaching career in a small rural high school of 400 students where I taught biology, AP biology and ecology. After 9 years I relocated to a large urban school with a wonderfully diverse population of students. I have been teaching several levels of biology, AP biology, and anatomy and physiology there for the last 4 years. Teaching by inquiry and modeling are my pedagogical focus.
