I just read over your recent proposal and it sounds like it's going to be a really fun experiment!  I think what you're doing by limiting the experiment to two plants (1 land and 1 aquatic) is great.  

How are you going to measure liquid absorption?
Is there any other data you plan to record?

Thanks for uploading your Celery Inquiry. I read through it, and already have lots of questions about your methods and results!

You conclude that celery sticks in the 15% solution lost the most water. What made the water move? 

You also mention that the length and width of the celery sticks in the 15% solution didn't change as much as you expected.  Can you take a guess as to why this happened?

Sounds like you're throwing blue dye into the mix in celery inquiry 2.  I'm excited to see what you find and if those findings help you to answer questions generated from inquiry 1.
