  • Profile Question 1
When and why did you decide to go into a science career?

  • Answer the question you selected for profile question 1 here (300 words):
I decided I wanted to go into a science-related career in my sophomore year of high school. I took biology and fell in love with the way that biologists take an in-depth look at what goes on in the living world. I always find it a bit odd that some people aren't genuinely curious about what drives the natural processes that occur right in our own backyards.

  • Profile Question 2
What is best about being a scientist?

  • Answer the question you selected for profile question 2 here (300 words):
The best part about being a scientist is that there is always something new to learn and share with others. Even an esteemed scientist in their own respective field is constantly learning new information that is being discovered and shared with others. The knowledge and learning doesn't stop within their field, as most scientists have a wide variety of interests spanning across several fields.

Avery, Elena, Jossalyn, and Tyler,

It was so much fun working with you all and seeing your experiment develop from the beginning. Good luck with your presentation! I'm sure you're all gonna rock.

Best wishes,
Laura
