  I study diseases of plants grown for food, like wheat and corn. My research focuses on the biology and genetics of fungi and the ecology of agricultural systems. I am also interested in the interaction between people, plants, and the environment.

Thanks for uploading the final report. It has all the essential parts, but here are some tips for future lab reports: always write so people who weren't part of the experiment can understand everything; it can be useful to include pictures or table to give readers a better idea of your results; if you use information or methods from another author or source, make sure to list the name of the authors/websites so they can get credit for their work.

I hope you enjoyed running this experiment, and good luck with the rest of your science class!

Hmm, that's a good question. I know that the alcohol, PVA, that you used is often part of seed treatments for use on farms - so I'm not sure that would stop germination. The borax though is a type of salt, and maybe it is preventing the…

Hmm, that's a good question. I know that the alcohol, PVA, that you used is often part of seed treatments for use on farms - so I'm not sure that would stop germination. The borax though is a type of salt, and maybe it is preventing the seeds from taking up enough water to germinate? I think you've stumped me! Let me know if you have other ideas about this.
