I taught four semesters as an undergrad at Humboldt State University for the general botany supplemental class. I loved it! I decided I wanted to be a professor, so I went to grad school at UC Berkeley to study mycology. Unfortunately, in the publish or perish world, my advisor did not want me to teach. I felt trapped! I switched into the Master's program and found a teaching position in the small town where my partner lived. I start in two days! I hope to start a science club so we can do the science fair this year. This is where PlantingScience comes in!
