  • Describe your teaching experience and interests in a brief public biography (200 words)
The kindergarten discovery minds attracted me to the classroom for my first two years of teaching. On my venture to the public school system, an administrator lead me to a technology support teacher position at an elementary where I taught technology applications to EC-6th grade students in addition to provide technology integration professional development. This is where I began a video broadcasting club that pre-recorded and edited a show for every school day. I currently teach video broadcasting and fundamentals of computer science in a middle school. My interests are shared with students before and after school as extra curricular activities in the areas of gardening, yoga, and computer coding. I'm in the process of becoming a Texas Master Naturalist and a member of my area chapter for the Computer Science Teacher Association.
