  • Describe your teaching experience and interests in a brief public biography (200 words)
I have been teaching math and science to low socioeconomic status students since 2014 at traditionally ignored schools. These students are incredibly bright, but have had enough setbacks in their lives to potentially prevent them from being able to graduate on time. I would love to incorporate garden science and other hands on activities into my curriculum, especially showing direct connections between math and science content.
