Nice to see you all introduced yourselves. I am Chinenye and I am not sure if you can view my profile. as everything you need to know about me is there. But, concisely, I am a 3rd year integrative Biology Ph.D. student at the University of South Dakota. I work with plants like Arabidopsis thaliana and Ice plant. and I focus on genetic manipulation of plant genome to increase abiotic stress (drought, heat and salt) tolerance
I am glad to be working with your group. I must commend your efforts and teamwork, keep it up. I just read your research question, that's a really good experimental procedure you came up with. I have a few questions
1. are you soaking your potatoes for 30 mins ( same protocol as the previous experimental design)?
2. how many potatoes are you using for each concentration?
another thing I would recommend is that you record your results at the same time for 7 days, that way it's consistent (24 hrs period).

PlantingScience F2 Grant Award
We are thrilled to announce that we have been recently been awarded a 5-year, $3.9M grant from the USA’s National Science Foundation. The new project extends previous research on PlantingScience, which showed improvements in student achievement and attitudes toward scientists. This grant will include developing and comparing an online format for collaborative teacher/scientist professional development to an in-person format, including comparing outcomes from students of teachers prepared through the different formats.
