My three environmental science classes will be involved in this program. My goal is to make our study of food production as it relates to population growth and environmental degradation real to my students. The World of Seeds Unit will enable my students to have a hands-on experience with the factors that one has to consider when growing plants.  It will also help my students gain experience with asking questions, developing an experiment, and using data to support an argument.

Environmental Science

The typical student has low motivation and has limited exposure lab-based science.

At the current time, students are involved in virtual learning. Some groups will set-up the experiment at their home, while others will have a set-up at school and I will be sending them video and photos of their experiment.
